There are so many vacationers that haven’t a clue about wild animals. I was traveling through Alberta on a family trip. In Banff, saw a German lady walk up to an elk with a full rack and squatt to take its picture from three or so feet away. Could have been worse, she just got butted and scampered behind a tree. I say German because my wife told me those were the expletives coming from her mouth.

Okaayyy then, let’s get back to warm fuzzies and cuteness. Yikes. 😱

Here, take a look at this super proud otter mama. 😄

I am NOT going to show that picture to my sis. It would be too much temptation for her to send it out to our friends with the caption, “Here’s Stephie relaxing after a hard day at work.”

My piglets! Except today, with the Antarctic vortex , they are covered in mud

Smiles and backs away having absolutely no idea what you just said.

Ok. Translates. I have 8 piglets atm. 6 pink, 2 black.

A kelpie is a sheep dog.

An Antarctic vortex is bringing weather chaos down on southern Australia. High winds, heavy rain, snow, sleet, hail.
It’s been slamming us for about 9 Hours now and is building in strength. So there is also a sheep weather alert out as there will be stock losses.

Pigs really feel the cold and wet windy weather. The big pigs have been screaming all night as they fight over the best shelter. 2am in gale force wind and rain , frail humans had to ensure that’s all the screaming was about.
The little piglets love mud. They are covered in it.

A Doona is a quilt. The kelpies are even feeling the cold and are on strike, sleeping under a pile of blankets.
