A friend asked me this question, he said he could not find where in the Gospels that the Apostles were baptized. Could someone answer this question?

A start would be John 1:35-37.

Andrew and Peter were disciples of John the Baptizer. And John pointed out the Messiah to them … and they followed Jesus.

Thus we know for sure that the first Pope got Baptized by John.

Actually, i believe the 2 apostles in 1:35-37 are Andrew and John the Evangelist. They take the Lord to meet Peter in 1:41-42.

but it is certainly possible - probably even likely - that Simon Peter was a disciple of John with his brother Andrew, and was baptized by him.
