Does anyone have a good clear larger size picture of one of the round windows at Las Lajas Sanctuary? Please post asap if possible and thank you in advance.
Very hard to find. I keep getting Notre Dame.

yes it is very hard to find. But I will not give up, It’s for a gift that I am making for my friend, she is from there and I thought it would be nice if I could incorporate something from home for her.

It looks like a beautiful window. I wonder why no one took a photo of it? I wonder if they have their own website where you can contact them?

well i found one of the round and another that make it even harder to believe that there are not a ton of them out there. If I was able to visit that wonderful place I would be sure to have pics of every part of it.

I would like to find a good interior shot of St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church in Birmingham, Alabama. This is the beautiful church is seen during the fifth mystery of EWTN’s Rosary program from the 1980’s, but there are only a couple of low-resolution photos online.

I don’t know if these are the photos you were talking about: rives.com/prj-st-elias.html

I have to scan pictures I took myself, but these are some churches I visited while on deployment.

St. John’s Co-Cathedral in Valleta, Malta.

A video is the only way to do this one justice. St. Marks Basilica Venice, Italy.

I wish I had been Catholic back then. It could have been much more meaningful. As it was, it was incredible.

Nice stuff, especially the first one. They actually charge admission huh?!

Historical paintings and museum artifacts, plus relics. They have regular tour guides that take you through for formal tours. This is how you can find out what you’re looking at. No charge for mass, as far as I know. They do have to pay the tour guides. 😉

Here is another one I’ve been to a few times.

Wait a minute, the tour guide was not affiliated with the cathedral. In other words, the tour guide showed us many different places around their respective city (it’s confusing because it was arranged through the US Navy). I do remember slipping some money in a donation box and I know THAT went to the cathedral, but it was voluntary. I don’t remember how it worked in Malta, but I don’t remember paying anything there either (again, donations were voluntary) but we looked for a donation box because the tour was incredible.

Just wanted to clear that up. 🙂
