Hello:

I hope you can help me because I am a little confused. I am a practicing Roman Catholic and wish to ask a question regarding the history of the world. I would like to be able to confidently teach my children in the Catholic tradition about these things.

I was taught in Catholic school about earth history, precambrian era, etc.

I’d like to put this in perspective with our belief in recent world history
(ie. Adam roughly 6000 years ago moving on to the flood, etc.)

Is there a bona fide Catholic resource that explains all this ?
