Dear Carlos19,

I am new to the community. I came across the site (and registered) while looking for place to purchase replica of the crucifix that Papa J.Paul 2 uses.

I also came across articles on the “bent cross” and some of the response includes the satanic beliefs.

I do not believe God will be offended by any questions! for He can answer any/all questions we ask.

I would argue, that you are not dumb in asking this question, or any, because your faith is steadfast and not threatened by questions, or beliefs of others, that are deemed sacrilegious.
Code:
In that you do not ignore or disregard any idea that pertains your belief in God, simply because it challenges your Faith in Him. In fact it only strengthens your Faith.
I believe an appropriate asw. are ones that explain it as a shepherds staff. Christ is the Good Shepard and we are his flock.
Code:
Also, i think the body is correctly represents the force of gravity on everything, eg notice His head is bent forward instead to the side, it would take more work & energy to maintain one's head to side bc He is dead, thus His head would naturally fall forward, after a turned head when He died; i'm assuming the body not in rigor mortis.

And, if the satanic association were true, WHY would satanists want to be reminded that Christ triumphed over satan, death, and sin for us? Not for God, Himself & the Holy Spirit, but for us- the sinners & the easily tempted ( temptations) by evil.
I hope this helps. I know it is a long response; better later then never.
in His Love & Peace,
francis

The inverted cross (as Peter was crucified on) is used as a Satanic symbol, an inversion of what is good and holy. The idea that a conventional crucifix whose arms are bowed downwards is a Satanic symbol seems to me to conflate the Germanic idea of a “bent cross” or “hooked cross” with our crucifix — the German word for “hooked cross” being the German translation of “swastika.” Hardly the same thing as the cross used by John Paul II.
