What have you supposedly shown me? Where is Scripture does Jesus say to Peter that he will be the first pope of the church founded upon Peter called the Roman Catholic Church? Twist away!****

"What you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven, what you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven’.
I see nothing “twisted” about that.

Where does your “proof” come from, your own personal interpretations of the Bible, a Catholic book?

Catholics do not belong to the religion of their own intellect.

That’s your viewpoint, of course. I must disagree. The church is shown in the Bible to be Christians. All Christians make up Christ’s church. Any one group, and Catholicism is NOT the only group, that claims only they are Christ’s church proves that they are not and that they don’t know what the church is.

Yes, and the one gospel isn’t the one espoused by the RCC nor is the RCC that one church. I know what Galatians 1:6-9 says and I recognize by Scripture that the gospel the RCC brings is different than the one originally delivered. The gospel is simple and clear but has been perverted and made a lot more complicated than what it really is by Catholicism.

I don’t NEED to reread it. Whatever the label on the door of the church building, wherever Christians are there is the church. There are different groups because people aren’t perfect and people disagree on certain things but all true Christians are going to agree on certain things, also. Some of the differences aren’t even on doctrine, some are simply about worship preferences. Catholics don’t all agree with each other on everything, by the way.
