Hmm…I was just wondering about this. I am praying for an intention right now that seems like will never be granted. I know that’s foolish to say since God is all powerful, but do you ever have those situations which seem like they would just take YEARS of prayers to change?

But the thing is- every act of God is equally effortless. He can answer your intention about solving a long and severe family problem just as easily as he can solve your intention to please help you find your lost shoe.

Does God want more prayer if the problem is more severe?

This prayer to Saint Jude might help:

I remember one sermon in which basically a lady kept praying to win the lottery. However, she never bought a ticket.

Just keep praying with faith that God will answer your prayer when He deems it the best time and if it is according to His will. Also, the answer might be something different than you expected since God knows what we need better than us.

The bigger the problem, the greater the miracle? Yes!!! if there is a doubt about it,read Saint John Bosco’s life, and you’ll see what I’m talking about.:bounce:

St. Monica prayed for 30 years for her son, St. Augustine. A lot of my prayers have been answered in steps. Do the possible, let God do the impossible.
