I dont know if anyone has seen this video before… The Bleeding Host Miracle occurred in Betania, Venezuela on December 8th, 1991 (The Feast of the Immaculate Conception) during the celebration of the Holy Mass at midnight.

What you see in the video is the Host was in flames, bleeding, and there was a pulsating heart bleeding in the center of the Host. The Group watched this for about 30 seconds or so, then the Host returned to normal. HOWEVER, Daniel did manage to film this miracle with his camcorder!

And it was tested and it was real blood and flesh…

If this doesnt show Jesus trying to show the real presence, I dont know what else!!!

What do you all think?!

The video seems just like a hoax. The eucharist was locked up in a box with a little glass window and catches on fire with a hole burned through it. The description of it bleeding wasn’t in the video, but the actual description was funny. The Daniel guy filmed what happened but no one else’s pictures and film got the miracle, just pictures of the ordinary host. Because you see, this Daniel guy, he’s blessed, he was given special “Video Vision” so he can evangelize this miracle.

But the host just burned up… in a contained box inside the wall. You guys should ask God for miracles that actually… DO something.

Devil’s advocate, woowoo! But seriously.

I have a few questions on this video.

1. If the host bursts into flame, why is the box or the glass not even charred? (I know, I know, it’s a miracle, god can do anything…etc, etc etc.)
2. If the host bursts into flame, why did none of the other adorers react? I know I would have been jumping up and down and pointing, or cowering on the floor or something, if I was a failthful follower and that happened right berfore my eyes.

On the website the videographer says the same thing:

There were 10-15 other people standing next to me also taking still pictures, but, they saw nothing, and nothing was recorded on their pictures except the normal condition of the Host, seen everyday.

I submit to you that this may have been nothing more than a reflection angled so that the camcorder caught it…after all there is glass in front of it and glass reflects light.

1. Where are these tests results they referred to? Is it published? is it available? How was the tests conducted? How was the samples obtained? Were they under quarintine? Was there any possibility of swapping the samples with other specimens in order to validate this claim?

Too many holes and possibilities to even make the claim of a miracle here. Even on the website they only quote apparent scientific findings, mostly from the Lanciato mircale and none from the above miracle.

I don’t want to lable this as a hoax, I think the videographer truly believes what he saw, but I do think that there are other explinations and possibilities that are overlooked by default, and the findings are based on people’s religious bias and what they want and expect to find.

I can’t tell what I’m looking at with that video. If Jesus wanted to show the real presence, don’t you think he would have done it in a less ambiguous way?

Why is such a sign offered to some but not to others (others present could not even see it)? Why is such a sign not given at every celebration of the sacrament? God works in mysterious ways? If his ways are so inscrutible, what makes you think you know that “Jesus wanted to show the real presence” is the proper interpretation of this event? The video to me is unclear as to what is being filmed. It doesn’t look to me like a burning bleeding host. I just see a reddish blog that looks like a visual effect from the way the light is hitting the camera lens.

Can you answer this: why is having such a visible sign of the real presence important to you? Did you doubt the real presence before? Do you have less doubt now that you’ve seen this video? Do you think this video is likely to sway anyone’s opion on the matter one way or the other?

The video is a hoax so it won’t sway opinions at all.
