Just prior to, and during the Cromwellian period, the Book of Common Prayer was supressed, along with the CoE generally, as established. The BCP was replaced by the DIRECTORY OF PUBLIC WORSHIP. You wouldn’t like it.
Mary undid all acts ecclesiastical, enacted since 1528. With one compromise/ exception: no attempt was made to restore any Church property or assets. So, the BCP was a goner, until Elizabeth.
