No, I don’t think that Iran conquers Iraq. The two horns of the ram in Daniel 8:3 are the two leaders, one of Iran and the other of Iraq. One horn is higher than the other, symbolizing that one leader has more power, but both rule at the same time, over the same group of nations (the ram). The first was like a lion, but with eagle’s wings. While I watched, the wings were plucked; it was raised from the ground to stand on two feet like a man, and given a human mind. (Dan 7:4)
Another kingdom shall take your place, inferior to yours, then a third kingdom, of bronze, which shall rule over the whole earth. (Dan 2:39)
Doesn’t the scenario call for Iran to conquer Iraq first?
How does our current occupation of Iraq factor in?
I don’t think the current U.S. presence in Iraq is much of a factor. Iraq will be taken over by extremists, as will the other nations of that region (but not Israel).
