Much like me, it seems. I’d really rather drop the matter for good (but it bugs me, it really does) - all I’m looking for is something that definitively says “no more,” “that’s the whole thing,” “never again,” “can’t add,” “we’re through,”… something like that.

research what the Catholic Church means when it uses the term 'Public Revelation". You’ll understand what is meant when it is said that the canon is closed. Peace

I thought Jimmy Akin once said that it would hypothetically be possible for the Catholic Church to adopt the books that are in the Orthodox Canon but not in the Catholic Canon if it Chose to do so because those books have never been declared to be Not (name removed by moderator)sired.
