I read on wikipedia that one of the Cappodocian Fathers, Gregory of Nyssa, may have believed in some form of universal salvation for all provided their baptized. Does that sound right or am I misreading the info on wikipedia? I do like the catholic mystics and he was one so I do want to read his works as well as that of the other Cappodocian Fathers but would that fit with catholic theology or more of private revelation? Of course I could be going about this all wrong trusting wikipedia in the first place. Thought?
