Yes…general reading in a simplistic format to start. Getting back to the original post…the catholic Church is Wrong’…help me understand that it is NOT wrong.🤷

Hi Madolaina.

I believe that Fr. John Triglio’s “Catholicism for Dummies” is pretty good. (I know, the whole ‘Dummies’ concept used to annoy me so I just substitute the word "newbie’ for dummy to myself and that helps! Anyhow, it is a very good read.)

There is actually a “Catholics for Dummies” book written by some apologists as EWTN. Also, Ctholic Answers has some books at their online store.

I don’t recall asking for your help… I’ve just been waiting to see you defend some of your accusations or answer some questions that have been posed to you and you answer by asking different questions… I don’t see how that type of a response helps anyone in their search for the truth… in fact it makes us realize that you’re not here to learn or discuss anything.😦

Look up my posts here and on other threads…I have defended them plenty. And no, you didnt ask for my help…but you sure do need it if you buy this stuff.

I already wish I had never looked at this thread so I doubt I need to read anymore from you than I have to… you have no intentions of having a fruitful discussion with anyone, especially a Catholic… you spew out your opinions and when someone responds to dispute your accusation you make an unrelated comment or somehow find the nerve to mock the Bible passages given for support as not being good enough for you…

Do you honestly believe that your efforts here at CAF will help anyone in their search for truth?.. From what I’ve experienced on CAF when people like you show up for their 2 week bashing of Catholics it usually only helps strenghten Catholics in their beliefs… so since you’ve served God wonderfully here on CAF perhaps you can move on to other not so sure Catholics elsewhere and help them strengthen their Catholic beliefs also.

I have seen, and when you run into a wall, just as SD says, you chnge the subject, or mock the Scriptures. If you dont mind me saying, yuou ar in way over your head.

On the contrary, when folks see how lacking you guys are, not to mention the attitudes, I am sure it helps send people in the other direction, thus, helping other truly find Christ and His Gospel. You and those like you help exemplify what is wrong with Catholicism so clearly, that it takes very little effort on my part.

Please, you arent even CLOSE to my league. You are so blind and close minded you REFUSE to see what explanations are offered here and on other threads, because, as stated in the movie, you cant handle the truth. So go, run along and hide in your little box, with your faith all nice and tidy, letting a power hungry establishment continue to blind you to the real Gospel of freedom, as Paul teaches it. I beg you to take up a Bible and actually read, study, and ponder it.

You mean we are not afraid to speak boldly? We are not afraid to confront what the Scriptures say? We do not change subjects and hide form questions we can’t answer?

Exactly you finally admit it…you CONFRONT what the Scriptures say, in favor of man-made “tradition”. See. my work here hasnt been a total waste. What question have I supposedly hid from?
 
You hid from the fact that the Scriptures acknowledge the Church is the Pillar of All Truth. (1 Tim. 3:15). You hid from explaining what Jesus said that his Church would be built upon St. Peter (Mat. 16:18). You resorted to mocking the Scriptures and when that didn’t work, you steered the conversation to wether or not you were a Protesatant. Typical tactics for Catholic haters.

“pilar of truth” is verbatim out of the Scriptures.

“you are Peter, upon this Rock will I build my church” again, straight out of the scriptures.

“Two verses is that all” in mockery of the word of God

I referred to you as a Protestant, and you went on a rant denying it
