Let’s have a look at what the New Testament actually says about how we Christians are supposed to share our faith.
1st Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile. 11 Let him decline from evil, and do good: let him seek after peace and pursue it: 12 Because the eyes of the Lord are upon the just, and his ears unto their prayers: but the countenance of the Lord upon them that do evil things. 13 And who is he that can hurt you, if you be zealous of good? 14 But if also you suffer any thing for justice’ sake, blessed are ye. No, but I refuse to believe this unless you can support that interpretation. The plain sense of the passage does not support what you have offered as an interpretation and that is one of the hallmarks of the post reformation theological systems. Making statements that are not supported by a passage and then asking people are they too dense to see it when in fact it is not there to begin with.
This is why you were deceived by people with Bibles. I know, I saw it many times over the years. That’s just how it goes.
You HAVE TO prove Sola Scriptura is scriptural (which we have already seen that you cannot do) or your entire belief system will crumble because virtually every doctrine that you have been taught has been based upon that as if it were true.
If, as I have shown, it is not, then you have a very serious problem with your religion.
