Greetings and Peace in Christ be with you,

As all of you know, the Catholic Church have been blasted with the sex abuse scandals. In my opinion, I do not think the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith is doing a poor job. I know the Code of Canon Law covers this (if I am wrong correct me).

Anyways, I believe it needs to be revised and changed that will bring the pedophiles to justice.

The suggestions I like to see happen is the following.
  1. Catholic clergy who commits and is caught of pedophile act will be banned completely from working with children.
  2. The priest or the religious will be remove from his ordination or office.
3 Once remove, he will be handed over to law enforcement authorities.

Other suggestions,
  1. Diocese should have an awareness program about child sex abuse or physical abuse. (the Army has EO or Sexual Harrassment Class done every 6 months)
  2. The victim should report sex abuse immediately first to law diocese and then to the law enforcement officials.
I am completely angry about the sex scandal and I do not think the current Code of Canon Law or any diocese have a good handling of sex scandal. This needs to change. We must protect our children or we will loose generations of Catholics, who are suppose pass on the faith to their offsprings.
