I have the book. I find it very intersting to note the subtle ways each version renders certain words and phrases, etc.

Of course, it’s all about the literal vs. dynamic rendering of the New Testament. Personally, my favorite is the Revised Standard Version - Catholic Edition - more literal than dynamic.

It’s nice to have the CCNT as a reference, especially if you own only one version of New Testament Scripture.

I have it as well; it’s well organized and easy to use. Paper is thin and highlighter probably bleeds through (I haven’t tried it), but it’s not too bad. I’d recommend it if you think you’ll get significant use out of it.

In my opinion, it contains the best version of the RSV-CE NT (see the RSV-CE Needs Corrections thread if you really want all the details on this, but be warned, that thread is a whopper.)
