The Catholic Gospel?

-I honestly do not understand why it is so difficult for the average Catholic to answer the most basic and important question of Christianity (how do I get to be with Jesus forever). It seems like it should be a quick short answer (maybe because of my background?).

The problem with this is that we do not live quick short answers, we live long, complicated lives. How does “accept Jesus as savior” translate into 50 years of living? How does “believe in Him” translate into 50 years of living? The problem is, after one is given the grace to say “I accept Jesus as my savior and I believe in Him”, then what? What does it mean to accept Jesus as savior? What does it mean to believe in Him?

And this brings us full circle back to my original post, and answer, to ANYONE who accepts Jesus on faith and wants to know how to get to Heaven. Join the Church he founded, which contains the fullness of Truth he became a human being on this earth to give us, and contains the full and normative means He gave us through that Church. No matter what question you ask, the Church Jesus gave us…the Catholic Church…has the answer.
