The Catholic** Legion of Decency**? Where were the Protestants? Do we need the Legion today? Is Hollywood dooming many to Hell?

The National Legion of Decency

was an organization dedicated to identifying and combating objectionable content, from the point of view of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States, in motion pictures. For the first quarter-century or so of its existence, the legion wielded great power in the American motion picture industry.

The Catholic** Legion of Decency**? Where were the Protestants? Do we need the Legion today? Is Hollywood dooming many to Hell?

Haven’t you heard, If you simply belive in Jesus Christ and accept him as your Lord and Savior, nothing else is required. So, if you watch some filthy movies your sins are already forgiven, so why worry? Such is the way that many of our born again protestant friends believe. No matter what you may do, once you have “found” Jesus, salvation cannot be lost. It’s so easy, even a Baptist can do it!

As far as Hollywood dooming souls. Just because somebody throws garbage onto the street, it doesn’t mean that we have to step in it. We are responsible for the actions that we take before God and before man. Nobody can make me watch anything that I do not wish to see. If this is a problem area, pray for help and guidance and God will help you through.

As we know Accepting Jesus and the Salvation that He offers is the main thing, however having done that does not give us a free get oout of jail card to do whatever we may like. God gave us all free will, we are free to accept or reject his gift of salvation. It seems that many have decided to reject Him. I pray for them each day.

May the Good Lord Bless You and Keep You. May this Season of Lent Bring Us All Closer to Our Loving God.
