Would Jesus have voted for Bush?
I don’t know enough of the Bush administration to answer that. I don’t know enough of Republican and Democrat policy either.

Voting is compulsory in Australia.

As it isn’t in America, maybe Jesus would not enrol 😛

Is voting really compulsory in Australia? What happens if you don’t vote?

I don’t know. I thought Jesus had a thing about lying and bringing war to other nations.
Mathew 19

** Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 15When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.**

Were all the other politicians who said the same thing prior to the war also lying? I guess your dictionary has a different meaning for lying than mine does.

When one turns age 18 here in Australia, they are legaly required to enrol to vote with the Australian Electoral Commission.

Apparently the AEC does random checks to make sure people are enrolled, but I do know some people who have never enrolled and they are way over 18.

However, once enrolled, it is compulsory to vote at all elections, and failure to do is a $50 fine.

Polling days are always a Saturday, and polling booths are open from 8.00a.m to 6.00p.m

People can vote before the day by sending in a postal vote e.g if they are on holidays out of the country on the polling day.

There are lots of other rules and procedures but they are the basics
