It really depends what you’re writing about. There are a few usages in the Byzantine rite which differ slightly, and many Eastern Catholic churches have revised service books which omit parts of the services that Orthodox still include.

In the Creed we pray for the one holy, catholic and apostolic church. This is not the (Roman) Catholic Church, but the Universal Church, including the Orthodox Churches who are also catholic. As also is the RC Church orthodox in its faith.

We have somewhat hijacked the term ‘catholic’.
