The cause for Archbishop Sheen

I know that there are proceedings to advance Abp. Fulton Sheen for canonization (I think the postulator is Fr. Andrew Apostoli).

I heard a long time ago that Archbishop Sheen had falsified something on his resume – perhaps an academic degree; I can’t recall.

Just wondering if this is true, and if it might be an issue that would harm the cause for canonization. I love his talks and hope it ain’t true!

no. He didn’t falsify anything his resume. And yes Fr. Andrew Apostoli is the postulator for his canonization. Archbishop Sheen ordained Fr. Andrew in 1967
