The channels around EWTN

It can be encouraging to watch the ten or so Christian satellite channels around EWTN.

One channel, Godtv, broadcasts from Jerusalem to all the world, and everyone who works in the center in Jerusalem are native Jews who are born-again Christians! (except for one person, I think). The channel was started by a couple from the UK. Quite amazing and encouraging.

You can hear and see stories all the time on these channels of conversions, churches, Christianity everywhere.
 
I don’t know if that particular channel is available on DirectTV satellite here. One channel I watch sometimes is TCC, The Church Channel which has programming from many religious perspectives. One is ‘The Jewish Jesus’ with Rabbi Kurt Schnieder, whose ministry preaches that Christians must learn to share their faith with Jews, so that Jews come to know Jesus as Messiah. One of the series that he had on was about Revelations. It was really interesting to hear New Testment Scripture from a Jewish perspective and in relation to the Old Testament Covenants. It made me want to learn more and I’m hoping that our Bible study group will chose Revelations in the fall. As a Catholic it has been surprising to me to realize how much commonality there is among the major Christian religions. Anything that leads me toward learning more about my faith is a good thing.
