I particularly like this devotion as a tool to help focus on spirituality.

Anybody else listen or view it? Its downloadable for RealPlayer from the ewtn website.

(the chaplet of the divine mercy) . .

I make an effort to pray this every day. It’s one of my favorite prayers, and it even helped set me on the path to seminary.

We have a special Divine Mercy Sunday afternoon service each year where our music ensemble sings the Divine Merch Chaplet

I teach our RCIA classes as well and we have each class participate in various Rosary prayers, the DMC being one of them

We also introduce the DMC at our Christ Renews His Parish retreats.

I have the music score here at home and play it on my guitar with my grandchild as well

Finally…you’re gonna love this one…I have a copy on CD and when I ride my Harley Davidson into work (about 75% of the days) I play the Chaplet as a morning devotion. You should see some of the looks I get if it is playing when I stop next to a driver with his window down:)

To the honor and glory of God, I give thanks for the many, many blessings I have received through praying this Chaplet. It really is true, as St. Faustina wrote, that those who pray this chaplet will be granted their petition if it is in accord with God’s will.

I pray it particularly for various priests and their communities/churches, several times a week, and always on Sundays during my Holy Hour. From the first time I heard it, my soul was stirred by it.

Wesley7, could you please provide further info on how to get to it on the EWTN site?

thank you.

Jesus, God and man,
imprisoned by love in Thy most holy Sacrament,
have mercy upon us.
– Blessed John Henry Newman, December 22, 1851

I like to sing it in my car during rush hour. 3 pm on Friday is also important to me.

As a Catholic sitting at the bedside of my dieing mother, father, and father-in-law, I can’t imagine a more powerful or consoling prayer.

When my father-in-law had a brain hemorrage and was lying in bed in a coma, one day went by, another night, another day, and we waited and waited for him to pass. Everything in our lives came to an abrupt halt and remained on hold. My hubby and I gathered some Catholic friends, stood around the bed, prayed this prayer. One of the friends is a nurse and she noticed a ‘change’ when we finished the prayer, and he was gone within 20 min. After waiting 5 days, and the nurses saying it could be any time, it seemed to us that God was waiting for that intercession. It’s hard to imagine a more peaceful ‘falling asleep’ than what we witnessed that evening. The grace I wish for all of us!

The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy is my favorite devotion. I am grateful to the Church for it.

My grandmother used to say the Chaplet at 3:00 pm daily all her life.

Her example and discipline is what has always drawn me to this devotion.
