The Church of Jesus Christ was never in apostacy?

Nonsense. You and the catholic church does not know nor can it know what Jesus taught and did outside the NT since we have no record of it. To say that you it is “Sacred Tradition” is being deceitful on your part since you well know there is no evidence for it. Hiding behind some kind “Sacred Tradition” won’t do.
Take this up with the jews. Jews also believe that God has given them written and oral traditions, just like we do. you will never know this as long as you are an outsider.

You may want to take this up with your church and find out what these Sacred Tradiitons are so that you know what they are if they exist.

i know what they are. you on the other hand you will never know for you are an outsider. dont you get it? if it is orally is not for everyone to know it.

Chesterton:
“The catholic faith even when watered down can still boil the world to rags.”

I got this from anti catholic website.

"It is impossible to vote when you left the real answer off of your list.

God is the pillar and foundation of truth. Not the church. You are misreading the text. You are interpreting it according to catholic theology instead of reading it as it should be read.

1 Timothy 3:15> If I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in Gods household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

Accurately read, the “pillar and foundation of truth” is referring to “the living God” in this verse."

What you expousing is a form of gnostcism. This is what the gnostics promoted needing some kind of knowledge to understand something… .:hmmm:

You gotta it!
So to be a catholic you also need to be some kind of gnostic?

i am only going with what you believe.
This is what you said:

To say i cannot know because i’m outsider is to claim so kind of gnosticism i.e. secret knowledge is needed to understand. This is where your statement leads to…

I did not say that we didn’t have evidence, ja4, I just said that you can’t access it. See, there are some matters of faith that cannot be absorbed without faith. Since you believe that Sacred Tradition does not exist, it is not very likely that you will be able to apprehend any of it. You have accepted some of it, like worship on Sundays, the Trinity, the NT and some others. But, unless and until you can recognize and accept what you already have from the Sacred Tradition, it is not likely that you will be able to appreciate any more.

Mark 4:25
25 For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away."

If you feel that you are being deceived, ja4, why are you here? You have made it clear you are not here looking for Catholic Answers. You already have all the answers you want about Catholicism. Do you imagine that you will succeed in convincing us to adopt your limited world view?

No, it is not knowledge you lack. You have been given copious information here for the last two years. It is faith you are lacking.

No, it is not “secret knowledge” but deeper faith than you can grasp right now. The Apostles were given custody of the mysteries of God. Not all of these mysteries can be committed to writing because they are enacted.

1 Cor 4:1
4:1 This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

A person has to apprehend them by participation. Since you are outside the sphere of participation, and you wish to remain there, you cannot access these things.

And what exactly do I so, justasking4? Please tell me. Inquiring minds want to know.
Having to defend some of the catholic doctrines is something that i would not want to do given that so many contradict or distort the Scriptures. My burden is far far less than yours…

There are no contradictions between Sacred Tradition, and the Sacred Writings. This is the case because they both come from the same Source. If there appear to be contradictions, it is because the reader does not understand one or the other.

for us is no burden at all. we love it. it comes very easy.

feel the power? you are stepping on unshaken ground.

No, actually, in the context of all that has been revealed by God through Jesus Christ, both spiritually and historically, the burden is actually greatly on you to disprove that the Church, has distorted and contradicted The Word of God (and please, we’re not talking about the very limited definition of the Word that some of our non-Catholic brethren liken it to).
