Don’t know where this church is, but would LOVE to have such a beautiful church to go to. Ours was violated years ago, if you are not Catholic and knew what the Tabernacle was and the two sad looking statues are representing, you would think yourself in a Protestant Church. At least they have replaced the image of the Risen Jesus with a beautiful Crucifix over the Tabernacle. Consider yourself blessed.

I’ll be coming up on Wednesday afternoon and heading back down to Wales the same evening; but you never know I may bump in to you on that day:D
Unlikely, because there is no evening Mass on Wednesday. Have a safe journey, and hopefully you’ll be back up to visit us in Edinburgh sometime?

As much as I love the parish and it’s community this is what my church looks like:

The first time I caught sight of the church I was a little intimidated…in my opinion, that shouldn’t be the impression a Catholic church should make. It had to grow on me. However, my husband and I did marry in the church. And our priest is making a lot of promising changes…restoring some old traditions.

Wow. And Wow again. Awesome. Words don’t do it justice.

Peace in Christ,

To the OP, thank you so much for posting those wonderful pictures! That parish so so beautiful, it is indeed a miracle that it made it all this time without being mauled. Oh if only my parish looked like that! Mine is an auditorium with a removable crucifix. 😦

Pax Vobiscum

That is one beautiful church.ā€“šŸ‘
]*Dear friend

**You are so greately blessed.

You have what we might call the ā€œtrinityā€ of Divine Worship**

Awe

Wonder

And Jesus, present and visible to all, all of the time!*]

May God continue to bless you. I’ll say a prayer for your pastor and Bishop, that they have permitted this manifesitation of Catholic Love for our God, to continue, in these very confusing times!

Love that German Gothic altar !
What's attendance like at the Latin Mass ?

For our Sunday Missa Cantata, on a good day, about 80 people attend. I would say on average, though, closer to 60. In another parish of the diocese, where the TLM has been offered for close to 10 years or so, the attendance is much stronger, between 175 and 275 for a Sunday Missa Cantata.
