**The Clock is Ticking
**
The clock is ticking, your time is running out each day.
How will you use it? Or will you just let it pass away?
How will you spend the rest of your mortal life,
Bringing joy to many others or just causing strife?
The clock is ticking, with whom will you spend your day?
By yourself all alone, or with close friends or family?
Or loving others and letting them know and love you?
Or with God, time’s creator, sharing all that you do?
It is important to live our lives in proper balance,
Deliberately and not just leaving it to chance.
We must choose how we will live each and every day,
Whether it is Godly or not, we must make our own way.
Whether used for work or rest, special is every moment.
Once gone – it is gone -a moment is forever spent.
Choose wisely how you spend time on this Earth today,
For in the future, it may determine just where you will stay.
God desires to share with us each and every hour,
Whether we are sleeping, eating, or just in the shower.
Each and every thought we make, and each and every act we do,
God desires to share in completely with me and you.
The clock is ticking, choose to let God enter in,
Do holy things, think holy thoughts, and avoid all sin.
Invite the almighty God to come into your heart,
Asking Him to dwell deeply and never ever to part.
