The closer we are to nature, the more of God we sense in ourselves. What is rooted in nature is love

Taking good care of nature is one thing and adoring nature is another. We as Catholics are obliged to take care of God’s creation but we worship only God not nature itself

I think Pope John Paul II might have been referring to Natural Law rather than nature per se. We are subject to Natural Law even if we are not baptised.

I think natural law is a very important element in our society that cannot be ignored any longer. I think the further we move away from the structure of the traditional family, the further from natural law we move and the more separated from God we become.

Nobody will ever convince me that raising children in loveless institutions like daycares are OK just so both parents can pursue their careers interests.

Also, according to Natural Law, we would never kill our children in the womb, murder our old and infirm. There are so many evils in this world, all because of abuses against the Natural Law. Of course, these are also against the teachings of our Church because they are against the Commandments of God. Natural law agrees with God’s Commandments; therefore those who never hear the Word, if they live according to Natural Law, will be judged well by God.

God is in Nature, because he created it.
We are part of nature too.

Nature is God’s creation but nature is not god. We shoul be very careful in making that distinction because we christians are not pagans who worship nature. We pray to only one God. Many new agers are trying to mislead Catholics with this comment that you posted

I agree with this quote. I think that it is important to respect nature for one of these days we might not have trees. Lets always recycle.🙂

Don’t listen to the doom mongers. There will always be trees. I do not believe for one moment any of the scare-mongers who terrify us into recycling. It is all about money with them. Nature is more resilient than they want us to think. Peace of Christ by with you:)
