Time frame for prophecy of Daniel does not match with King David.
Who ever said so? King David is not even mentioned. Daniel’s time frame is supposed to match the 70 years of Jewish exile in Babylon, as it does retrospectively.

Thanks Kathleen, but I have been to Hebrewcatholic.org from another recommendation
but they declined my application after three days that they asked to check somethings
about me. Probably, they checked Catholic Answers Forum to give me the “No, you cannot join us.” They must be afraid of something to throw away the chance to get another Jew.
Dear Ben Masada,

I do not think “they” are afraid.😃 I believe that “they” just might be a little wiser.🙂

Always praying and pondering…

Daniel 2
The dream of Nebuchadnezzar explained by Daniel , prophecies about the Kingdom of Rock that would last forever and never be destroyed. this is Christianity. Few know that when Jesus came to Earth to make his Church he setup also a Church in Heaven that will never be Destroyed:

"36This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.

37Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.

38And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

39And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

40And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

41And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

42And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

43And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

44And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

45Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. May God bless you and help in your path to find truth.

Holy Light cannot be made by monks to rise. Holy Light appears only on the day Jesus resurrected , once a year. You may refer to something else.

What this movie tells you?

What about this one. At one time, end of Part 2 the muslim speaks about Jesus visiting him in a dream and performing a miracle. Lots of Muslims report having revelations and dreams after praying for true path:

For centuries Orthodox people following Lords prayer path, unceasing prayer have spoke with Jesus face to face.

This is a man that saw Jesus after his Near death experience.

Once I think I saw Jesus myself.
There was a man resembling Jesus and I approached him.
He didn’t have anything in his feet like shoes and poor clothes.
I asked him if he wants money and he asked me what to do with them?
I asked him if he wants food and he said he does not need food.
I asked him if he wants some water and he said yes.
To this day I am asking myself if this was Jesus , at least it resembled Jesus I know from icons.
One question that I would have loved to ask is, Are you Jesus?

Many Budhists that were Christian before report meting Jesus:
"“Now as to why someone moves from Buddhism to Orthodoxy - everyone’s story
is different - some are miraculous - some are frightening - some are
fairly ordinary. But a common denominator seems to be that; if a person
has even the smallest history of knowledge of Christ before becoming a
Buddhist, then even the smallest of such impressions, even from early
childhood, will cause a Buddhist to reach a point beyond which they cannot
grow as a Buddhist. There are Buddhist practices which serve to “open the
heart”. Such a practice will often not work for one whose heart has been
visited even briefly by Christ - their heart will open only for Him. More
than one Buddhist has caught himself chanting a mantra that he or she had
previously chanted over 100,000 times, that somehow, one day turns into
“Lord have mercy”. And He does have mercy!

Jesus did not establish any New Covenant, but rather confirmed the Old Covenant down to the letter. Read Matthew 5:17-19. If you insist that he established anything new, you are contradicting his own words. The one who established your New Covenant was Paul if you read Galatians 4:21-31, after he abolished what Jesus did not. (Mat. 5:17)
Dear Ben Masada,

From what I understand in my heart, maybe calling what Jesus did for us was not a New Covenant but a completion of the Covenant?

Always praying and pondering…

How would Israel fit on a donkey to be presented to Jerusalem?
How at the comming of Israel, Israel would have unfit leaders?
How is Israel both God and man?
How is Israel scattered as a result of rejecting Israel?

Sure. All Jews had suffered. But definitely not all Jews Isaiah was referring to in 50:6.

Isaiah 50:6

6I gave my back to those who struck me,
and my cheeks to those who pulled out the beard;
I did not hide my face
from insult and spitting.

It appears to me Isaiah was referring to ONE person only and not a multitude.🤷

So Jacob was Isaiah referring to?
No, Isaiah was referring to Israel or Messiah ben Joseph, the Ten Tribes. You insist that Isaiah could not be referring to the People of Israel but to a single one. Okay, when God said to Pharaoh through Moses, “Israel is my son; so, let My son go, that he may serve Me,” was he pleading for one of the People of Israel or for all Israel? (Exo. 4:22,23)
If you say for a single one of the People, I rest my case with you; but assuming that you will admit your argument has been futile, I’ll return to Isaiah and repeat to you that he was referring to the whole People of Israel; fair enough?

One question that I would have loved to ask is, Are you Jesus?
**No, I am not. But I tell you with all my sincerity: If I had lived in the First Century, especially at the time of Jesus or soon afterwards, I would definitely join the Sect of the Nazarenes. **

I would love to ask the person I meet that resembled Jesus.

Ben we could move round and round and round, simply you can say anything is too allegorical and come with everything. Like in Daniel time. There were many wise men, but only Daniel spoke with God. There are many wise men today but Orthodox Christians have a path to spak with God face to face, Lord prayer that resembles the prayer of the publican , Lord have mercy.

If you would like to speak with a man in today’s times that I think visited Heaven and that I think can speak with God , next time you visit USA you can meet Elder Ephraim from Florence Arizona monastery. stanthonysmonastery.org/index.php Almost sure these people or people like this are around Israel today in Orthodox Christian comunity.

You can ask, how would I know he truly can speak with God?

Because, like Daniel he can see thoughts. Also he can see angels and ask an angel to show the book of your sins an also can ask the angel about your future. This is not 100% your future since you can change. Maybe this will help you make a decision. There was such a man near my home city and believe me, many people went changed. He could tell EXACTLY sins done years earlier that even people forget.

Look not for what wise men speak but for where God speaks and God speaks a lot through miracles:

When Word of God visited Earth to give Holy Communion for eternal life, I think there were 2 kinds of Jews, those in connection with God like prophets that become Christians and these not in connection with God. Unfortunately the last ones may have been outsmarted and lead to a wrong direction even if they did not know it. Orthodox Christianity have learned and continued to maintain the contact with God from that time on.

Okay, I am all ears. Tell me what did Jesus do to complete in the Covenant? Perhaps we will have something to discuss afaterwards.

Fortune tellers and decromancy are against the Scriptures. Since the return of the Jewish People from exile in Babylon, no more Prophets have risen, because we no longer need them.

**Eternal life only God is. Any one else who has been born in this world must die.

Prophets ceased after the return of the Jewish People from exile in Banbylon.

And Christianity started about 30 years after Jesus had been gone with Paul, in Antioch, the place where the disciples of the Nazarenes were first called Christians. Why? Because Paul had spent a whole year there preaching about Jesus as Christ. **

Jeremiah 31:30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge. [see [*36] [Ga 6:5-7]

31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith Yahweh (the LORD). As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith Yahweh (the LORD); My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith Yahweh (the LORD), from henceforth and for ever (Isa. 59:20-2)."

Malachi 3

1Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me:** and the LORD**, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

This is Chapter 7 of Hebrews book dedicated to hebrews for understanding :
biblegateway.com/passage/?version=KJV&search=Hebrews+7
1For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

2To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

3Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

4Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

5And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

6But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.

7And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

8And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

9And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

10For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

11If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

12For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

13For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

14For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

15And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

16Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

17For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

18For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

19For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

20And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:

21(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

22By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

23And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

24But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

25Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

26For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

27Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

28For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

**Yes, Jesus was born within the time of the New Covenant which was established when the Jews returned from exile in Babylon. That New Covenant, as you have mentioned above, was indeed established with the House of Israel and the House of Judah as one People. It had nothing to do with Gentiles.

Now, the Gentile who wrote the gospel of Matthew was removed from the reality that Jesus had not been the only Jew crucified by the Romans. These crucified thousands of Jews, according to Josephus. How about the blood shed by the others, it didn’t count? How unfair to the others who went through the very same agonies of the crucifixion!**

The unknown author who wrote the Book of Daniel must have been an expert in reading the Prophets to have such an expertise to write History in prophetical language. The Catholic Church itself confirms that the Book was written in the middle of the Second Century, about 300 years after all the events had taken place. Read preface to the Book of Daniel in the NABV, which brings the Imprimatur of Pope Paulus PP. VI.
According to the preface to the Book of Daniel in The New American Bible “strictly speaking, the book does not belong to the prophetic writings but rather to a distinctive type of literature known as “apocalyptic,” . . . [and] was compiled during the bitter persecution carried on by Antiochus IV Epiphanes (167-164) and was written to strengthen and comfort the Jewish people in their ordeal. . . . [A] persecuted Jew of the second century B.C. would quickly see the application of these stories to his own plight.”
The New American Bible does have an introductory letter by Pope Paul VI dated September 18, 1970, but the actual Imprimatur for the Old Testament (dated July 27, 1970) is from Patrick Cardinal O’Boyle, D.D., Archbishop of Washington. Either way it is perfectly clear that the Catholic Church is aware of and accepts a second century B.C. date for the composition of the Book of Daniel and its classification as not being one of the prophetic writings. Nevertheless the date for the Book of Daniel still dates more than a century and a half before Jesus of Nazareth.
The preface to the Book of Daniel also notes that under the apocalyptic imagery used in the Book of Daniel “are contained some of the best elements of prophetic teaching: the insistence on right conduct, the divine control over events, the certainty that the kingdom of God will ultimately triumph. The arrival of the kingdom is a central theme of the synoptic gospels, and Jesus, in calling himself the “Son of Man,” reminds us that he fulfills the destiny of this mysterious figure in the seventh chapter of Daniel.”

P.S. Thank you for pointing out that preface. I hadn’t read that particular item before. I like it. It’s short, clear and very much to the point.

No, I am the one who must thank you for being the first one to confirm my Catholic evidence on this issue. Others just refuse to believe, what makes me feel ridiculous. Thanks again, and I’ll be making reference to this post of yours as a confirmation to my finds.
