The Consequences of Homosexual Marriage

I have a question about this…what do you do when you see someone growing up and they look like the opposite sex, act like the opposite sex and talk like the opposite sex? Seriously? I mean and then this person grows up confused because it’s not acceptable under GOD’s eyes? Are they supposed to ignore how they feel and whom they are? How do they get treatment for that or even counseling? How do they live, a life alone because they can not love someone of the opposite sex but are attracted to a person of the same sex?

I am just asking this because I am trying to understand homosexuality…I know a few people whom show such signs but they won’t tell anyone and live in secrecy doing things with people of the same sex and then I hear about them through gossip and parties these people make…

Not all gay men are effeminate and not all lesbians are masculine. Yet many heterosexuals show these characteristics.

Was Jesus effeminate when He wept over Jerusalem or dead Lazarus? Was St. Joan of Arc butch when she donned armor and went to war to liberate France?

I seldom used profanity or obscenities growing up. Does this mean I “talked like the opposite sex”?

As for gossip–take it for what it is: gossip, and ignore it.

This is a very real and difficult dilemma. But as creatures of God we must all abide by the law given by God. The law clearly condemns homosexual acts, both in the Old Testament and New Testament. There is a stronger argument against homosexuality to be found in nature than even those found in the Bible. Things don’t just happen randomly in God’s universe. This person, as are all homosexual persons, is being called by God to be shining example of chastity! Everyone has a calling and a purpose in God’s Plan. Homosexuals just happen to have a clearer idea of how they will help bring about God’s Kingdom on earth.

If we believe in God, then we must, necessarily, believe in the existence of Satan. We know, then, that certain forces are being directed by Satan against the people of God? How possible is it that Satan is tempting homosexuals to do exactly what they know in their hearts is sinful in the eyes of God! They have the opportunity to be a bright beacon of light in this weary world! The world needs more examples of this kind. No Catholic Church I know of would reject a person who admits their homosexuality but preaches (and lives) a chaste life for Christ!

We cannot rely on the law of the land to protect and promote the Christian way of life anymore. It is up to us Christians to live it, share it and shout from the rooftops that we follow Christ!
