I was contemplating the Mystery of the Eucharist. Now, we certainly proclaim that Jesus Christ is God. We also certainly proclaim that Jesus Christ is present in the Eucharist. That means the Eucharist is God. We also proclaim that God is the One Creator of the universe.
Does that mean that when we receive the Eucharist, we are directly in the presence of the Creator of the entire universe?!
If I’m right, that is truly mind-boggling, and kind of inspires fear in me (in a good way of course)!
