It is obvious it isnt “righteous” anything, but pure hatred. The more I think about it, the more I feel the need to pray for that person, they are in the dark indeed.grandfather,
I am interested in your comments on the above posts. What do you think of the conversation about ‘righteous anger’? Are these posts righteous?
Here is a sutta about anger where the Buddha is asked a question and answers it.
*Having killed what
do you sleep in ease?
Having killed what
do you not grieve?
Of the slaying of what one thing
does Gotama approve?
[The Buddha:]*
Having killed anger
you sleep in ease.
Having killed anger
you do not grieve.
The noble ones praise the slaying of anger
— with its honeyed crest

for having killed it
