Ok ok, now from my reading of your last post, this is what you seem to say though:-
  1. All males are aroused MAINLY by the genitalia Usually, and also MOSTLY
  2. Then they might also be aroused on other parts different from person to person No, not might. They WILL.**But the preferences WITHIN those parts may vary. **
  3. But these other parts are not important since there is no consensus or hard to cater for all nope, never said that
  4. So since I cover up my genitalia all the time, I am dressing modestly even though I might not cover the ‘other sexually arousing’ areas Not necessarily. It just depends on time and place. What may be appropriate at the beach will absolutely not be appropriate at the grocery store and certainly not at a Church.
Is that not what you have been saying?
Wow, no. A lot of the stuff you put in there are things that never ever EVER came out of my mouth.

You want a stumbling block —it is right there in your words. You have de-humanized a person-- for what the person wears. Now there will be others – who will read what you have said – and view a woman as an animal --for that is the image you have planted in their head.
Both the man and the woman in that example you gave have stooped down to the level of an animal. What else do you want me to say?

You have said enough --for** You **are the one who have made them into animals. And Yes --that is the image-- someone else-- can pick up from you.

I am starting to wonder if your view stays constant now for more than 5 posts haha.
Yes they do… you just somehow “see things” or something, that aren’t there. As has been evident a number of times now.

You know, the average person after realizing that his/her views have been misrepresented go “That is not what I am saying, I am saying…” and then go on to provide their view again in detail or a concise manner to explain things to the confused person.

You seem to be the exception in merely stating “That is not what I am saying” and end it right there 😉

Exactly - why do you think there are pages and pages in magazines devoted to shots of celebrities’ ‘hot’ and well-toned abdominals, for example?

That women so love Mr Darcy in a wet clinging shirt in the BBC series of “Pride and Prejudice” (which certainly didn’t show his genitals, but DID show off his torso?)

Why do you think they scream when a Chippendale rips his shirt off - which again doesn’t expose his genitals?

Why do you think men describe themselves sometimes not as ‘breast’ or ‘booty’ men but as ‘leg’ men? Why women interested in making themselves ‘hot’ make sure their thighs (as well as bottom and upper chest) are well toned?

Why do women wear high heels in an effort to make their legs look longer and more toned? And why do so many men gravitate at a nightclub to the woman in the heels-and-short-skirt instead of the one in ballet flats and longer skirt?

As I said, I am always ready to claim what I know as much as I am ready to claim what I do not know. In fact, I usually try to stay out of getting in to arguments on stuff I do not know 🙂
Awesome examples! Such a shame that many seem to have been mislead think that only the genitalia are sexually arousing.

Well if they DO change from time to time as you say, then I have not been seeing things have I 🙂

Those are actual acts of an accomplice. Like --for example --a woman doing a strip/pole dance/lap dance at a strip club. A woman at a “red light” district or a woman having her picture taken for a “certain type” of magazines and/or porn. Outside of situations like that – we cannot assume – that a woman’s intentions are to make men lust.
No, a woman doing a strip dance would be like my hypothetical mate going even further - say waiting in front of the bank in his car while I committed the robbery and driving me away with the money afterwards.

Reread my last two paragraphs. You don’t need to INTEND to sin.

You can sin by recklessness or negligence (ie knowing or believing that what you wear has a good chance of making men lust but not caring). Like you can commit a crime by recklessness or negligence, and don’t always need intent.

Hence my example of the drunk driver - he doesn’t need to intend to hit anything or anyone. He just needs to be drunk and get behind a wheel and he’s guilty. Less guilty than if he HAD intended to run someone over of course, but not innocent by any stretch.

The problem is, Lily, that this poster made a false accusation. I do NOT think that the genitalia is the only part of the female body that can be arousing to all man. Neither did I ever say so.

I have explained to you twice what I meant, and then edited your post with blue to make it as clear as possible what I meant, and you’re telling me all I do is say “that’s not what I meant” and end it right there?

The more I talk with you, the more I wonder if you’re seeing things that aren’t there, and not seeing things that are… 🤷

I guess I can’t really help you with that.

I don’t mean to intrude, but hasn’t your point been all along that any dress is ok as long as it covers the genitalia because the other parts are not in general sexually arousing?

I am sure thats the view that Lily or any other viewer reader would get if they read your defense on the Brazilian beach 🙂

Me not being one of them, as I have already explained to you multiple times now… unless of course, you are somehow missing all that as well.

So did you or did you not say that people wearing a Bikini is fine on that beach simply because they have their genitalia covered and is the only source of sexual arousal?

Btw, I would like to you to think hard before you answer because the posts you made are on this thread and I can just quote them to you.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

“YES THEY DO” as in “YES THEY STAY CONSTANT!”

Passer by, My response of “yes they do” was a response to THIS post of yours:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I rest my case.
Well with your answer to the my above post, we shall soon find out how constant your views actually are 👍

I see, so forgive my low intelligence and please do explain what you are saying in the following post

http://forums.catholic-questions.org/showpost.php?p=8794932&postcount=516

It appears clear to me that you are saying since genitalia are covered by a bikini, the sexually arousing parts are also covered.
Unless you dress like the Amish or live in cold weather year round, few clothes are going to cover up every single part that can be sexually arousing to a man.

Bikinis cover the private, more arousing parts, and I’ve been saying that consistently.

I never said, as you claim “genitalia is the only part of the female body that arouses a man.”

By the way, buttocks and breasts are not considered genitalia, so to say that it is all a bikini covers is false.

Again --women do not “make” men lust —men do that on their own. She can be responsible for her own actions --when she engages in acts of her own – like prostitution – porn – stripping/pole/lap dances – having her picture taken for purposes of men’s magazines. Even then --we are not privy as to her judgement from God.

“Pointless”. To say its “pointless” – is to basically bring humanity down to an animal level. There would be no difference between a male of an animal species – who has no option to but to react when the female is in heat – and a human male --not being able to not look at a woman with a pure heart – because of what she wears. It also denies – the Grace in the Sacraments – to help us overcome our weaknesses/sins – and purify our hearts/minds.
👍👍👍 We can’t keep saying we are so much better than animals being made in the image of God and in the same breath talk about how women must consider the reactions of me who can’t help themselves.
