From what I have heard, the evidence against Tookie for murder is overwhelming. In that light, I don’t think the amount of books he has written, nor his alleged outspokeness against the gangs outweighs the fact that he never expressed remorse or even guilt for what he did. Tookie was not just a killer, he WAS a gangster until the end. Gangbangers, especially those that have considerable influence from behind the bars, are always going to be dangerous unless you deprive them of ALL communication from anyone including prison gaurds. Gangsters of this influence are known to have others killed while in their cells so they might be considered more of a threat to society than the “normal” psychopath or serial rapist who is imprisoned. Unfortunately, this is the very rare case where execution is needed.

Judge Wilhelm Stäglich
Was tried and convicted in German courts. Had his doctorate
stripped from him and his pension cut for speaking out about several
inconsistancies in an Auschwitz book.

Tjiudar Rudolph
Imprisoned in Germany for lengthy stints for “doubting the Holocaust”,
even though he was in his mid-eighties at the time.

Udo Walendy
Convicted and imprisoned in Germany for 15 months for writing several
books questioning various aspects of WWII history, even though already
in his seventies and in poor health with a serious heart condition.

Fred Leuchter
Arrested and jailed in Germany for his scientific research into gassings
at German camps.

David Irving
Convicted, jailed, fined, deported and barred from numerous countries,
Currently jailed in Austria for correctly stating that less than 6
million Jews died in German camps.

Otto Ernst Remer
Tried and convicted to more than one year imprisonment for speaking out on
behalf of German veterans wrongly labeled as criminals, even though he
was over 80 years old and in ill health.

Germar Rudolf
Accused, tried and convicted in Germany. Professorship revoked and doctorate
dissertation removed from records.

Ingrid Weckert
One of the best-known German historical researchers and writers. Tried,
convicted and fined for her book on the Krystallnacht.

Günther Deckert
Currently imprisoned in Bruchsal, Germany. Faces up to eight years incarceration.

Hans Schmidt
Arrested, tried and jailed in Germany, even though he was a US citizen.

Seems to me that imprisoning people without just cause is a trend of wich USA is a strong proponent, atleast in later years…

I have heard a bunch of unsubstantiated rumor about this but nothing factual and especially nothing about innocent people being held. Facts please.

Released because the intelligence from them had grown old and no longer usable.
