What???
Where did you learn this?
Where did you learn this?
Most mortal sins are acts, not lack of acts. What???
Where did you learn this?
It is not rocket science. Look around. See what sins are discussed in these forums. Is this even Catholic teaching?
Which is a no to do something good.I would venture to say that the most common sins are sins of the flesh and they are acts!
Frankly that is ridiculous. If I commit adultery it is not a sin of omission. All Catholics here are telling you that but you who are not a Catholic (yet) are telling all of us that we are wrong!Which is a no to do something good.
You are refusing to do they other thing that you should have done. It is both a commission and an ommission.
And you as the non-Catholic know better than us!!I would dissagree. I will not discuss this anymore. We will have to dissagree!!!
All you are saying is that we cannot refuse to do stuff. This s is tupid! And you are NOT stupid!
It’s not either/or. We can deal with both sins of commission and sins of omission at the same time. But why should we focus on sins of comission rather than sins of omisssion?
Sin can just as easily be a “yes” to something not good. Like “yes” to “should I murder this guy?”, or “yes” to “should I steal this car?”Yes but all sin is a “no” to something good.
Here we go again…Here we go again.
Catholics do have difficulties with “sin of ommission”!
