And I got my new Bible earlier this month from Amazon. I bought The Didache Bible in dark green leather.
The only thing I don’t like, and noticed in some of the buyer reviews others also dislike the same thing, is that the leather isn’t fully leather but leather that covers a hardback book so the cover is stiff rather than supple.
It looks nice and feels good to the touch and from a hat I’ve read so far, I do like it. I can’t return it as I’ve already written in it and have had it blessed.
I’m starting a new Bible study this week but it will only be for one day; then they’re taking a break and will start back up in either Jan.or Feb.
I know the teacher and another student. We’re friendly acquaintances, so I’m looking forward to that.
The teacher said that she has several.Bibles including The Didache Bible, too and it’s her go-to Bible, but she didn’t say anything about the cover.
What do you all think?
Do you prefer plain hardback, leather hardback or soft leather covers?
