The Differences Between Traditional Priestly Formation And OF Priestly Formation?

I have often wondered how the priesthood changed after Vatican II? I know that the Minor Orders were suppressed and that the tonsure was no longer required. But what else happened?

For example, Peter has decided become an FSSP priest. His best friend Paul has decided to become an ordinary priest in his home diocese. Peter knows he will celebrate the Sacraments according to the Books of Bl. John XXIII and that his friend Paul will celebrate the Sacraments according to the Books of Paul VI. However, he wonders what else will be different? How will his priestly formation differ to Paul’s?
 
FSSP’s Seminary (Our Lady of Guadalupe) has a nice section on what the seminarians do.

This may sound like an exaduration, but the difference is that at a Traditional Seminary they will live orderly lives and be taught the true faith, whereas at a non-Traditional Seminary (at least in the USA), they will live similar to college students and be taught heresy.

I’ve mentioned this before. One of the most conservative Novus Ordo priests in our diocese recently read the Sallabus of errors of Pius XI and said that he was taught, as true, every single one of the error. He was so angry that he said he thought he deserved to get his money back. He went to the Seminary to be taught the faith, and instead was taught heresy. More fruits of the New Springtime.
