Sorry but the idea behind CAF members contracepting was simply a way to mirror the statistics we are all aware of. Don’t act like that’s your only problem with what I have posted because it’s not. If I was talking about homosexuality and their duty to follow the Churches sex laws I would be a hero and this would be a 5 page thread of everyone patting each other’s back.

But instead I have been “attacked” more or less and criticized for not being tolerant enough. We owe it to ourselves to ask why and sadly all it does is validate what I’m saying here.

So to clarify, you’re taking percentages generated by a random sampling of a broad population and applying them to a specific subgroup? That’s not really how statistics work. At least they don’t work well when you do that.

I’m just saying that I don’t think you’ll find the answers you are looking for here as the purple who frequently part on CAF aren’t necessarily representative of Catholics as a whole and vice versa.

First let me say I am not. But the, let me say without meaning to be glib or uncharitable - it’s none of your business.

Of course it is happening, but we must recall the Church is a hospital for sinners and not a vacation resort for the righteous.

This seems a matter between the individual and God. And not me and that individual.

Who has criticized you for intolerance? The only thing you’ve been criticized for is assuming that people are contracepting when you really have no idea if they are or aren’t and actually accusing the forum members of contracepting and lying about it.
