You are correct.
After Good Friday the altar is stripped and on the Vigil the Blessed Sacrament in placed in the tabernacle prior to the beginning of the liturgy;
God bless you now
No. At the very least, there has to be enough Hosts n the Tabernacle for anyone dying needing the Last Rites.Aren’t all Eucharistic species supposed to be consumed by Black Saturday?
Where does it say that? What of emergencies? Our parish keeps a lot of Hosts in the Tabernacle as we are near both a busy motorway and a railway line, not to mention two hospitals.On Good Friday after the priest given out communion the priest should consume all the leftover blessed sacrament son both the tabernacle are not reserving the blessed sacrament.
Before Mass on Holy Thursday evening the only host remaing in the Tabernacle is the large host inside the lunal used for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after Mass.No. At the very least, there has to be enough Hosts n the Tabernacle for anyone dying needing the Last Rites.
My apologies, Aran. I didn’t understand your post before. I see now that you are saying that there can be a tabernacle containing the Blessed Sacrament in a separate place on Good Friday. Sorry, I should have read more carefully.On Good Friday after the priest given out communion the priest should consume all the leftover blessed sacrament son both the tabernacle are not reserving the blessed sacrament.
