**The Empty Tomb
**
The tomb is empty and Jesus Christ is not there,
For He has risen bringing mercy for all to share.
Alleluia, praise Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!
He has defeated death and sin once and forever.

The tomb is empty and the large stone rolled away;
He forgives our sins and cleanses our heart in His way.
Alleluia, praise Jesus Christ our Lord and Redeemer!
He purifies our hearts until they just purely shimmer.

The tomb is empty and His burial garments remain;
His tragic dying and resurrection has become our gain.
Alleluia, praise Jesus Christ our Lord and High King!
His great love frees us and leads us to deep loving.

The tomb is empty and His sacrifice is deeply remembered
Among His loyal and faithful followers may we be so numbered.
Alleluia, praise Jesus Christ our Lord and Master!
His loving example shows us how to treat one another.

The tomb is empty and Jesus Christ is very alive,
Journeying with us in this hard life we daily do strive.
Alleluia, praise Jesus Christ our Lord and Great Friend!
His loving heart unites us in prefect love never to end.

I think your fingers were in such exhilaration in completing the poem you typed “prefect”…instead of “perfect”? Nice poem!
 
The Empty Tomb is splendidly written.
It reminds me of the Easter Sequence at the Easter Sunday Mass.
