Good Subject !! At the risk of a riot, I ask " Has anyone wondered if Islam is the Antichrist " ? Awhile back a friend posted that thought on Facebook, and at first I scoffed. But, could the term Antichrist represent something other than a Person ? And if so, a group bent on killing Christians … just a wild thought.
 
Walid Shoeba is a ex terorist who converted to Christianity, and later became a Catholic. He has a extensive understanding of Bible prophecy and has travelled round America giving talks in Churches. He believes that Islam is the Antichrist system, and he says that Western Christians should be reading Old Testament prophecy instead of just focusing on the Book of Revelations.
Personally, I believe there is a force which is harnessing Islam with the purpose of undermining and weakening Christianity and thus setting up a Godless One World Govt. Archbishop Fulton Sheen believed that Our Lady will be instrumental in the conversion of Muslims .

The spread of the Church over all countries will take place by the instrumentality of this strong monarch, and before the destruction of the world, Christianity will be preached to all nations of the earth; as this is foretold in Matthew and Isaiah and in Micah.

Trump isn’t Catholic, nor was he born one. He hasn’t exactly been a paragon of humility and simplicity, “without any great parade”, from his youth (ha!). He definitely isn’t holy or honourable. He sure as hell ain’t facilitating peace in international affairs with his trade wars (not to mention elevating John Bolton into his administration as National Security Adviser!) and he has certainly never been known for religious zeal.

He not only fails to satisfy any of the criteria but represents their polar opposite.

Given the fact that he is held in reproach internationally as a divisive and retrograde player on the world stage, I can bet my bottom dollar/pound/euro that he will not go down in history as someone instrumental in “spreading Christianity”.

The image of Evangelical Christianity will undoubtedly suffer owing to this denomination’s adherents continuing to endorse a serial adulterer with a history of shady business dealings and a penchant for outright profanity.

I do not think we should worry about the end of the world but we should worry about the end of our life and work towards preparing ourselves to make this ultimate journey,
 
The Lord implies in the Gospels that we should be aware of the 'Signs of the Times ’ and He gives us many signs to look out for.
 
I agree we should be alert to the “Sign of our Times” but it is difficult to estimate which event will come earlier my point is that Jesus said that we must always be prepared.

The controvesial and much derided Prophecy of the Popes actually is composed of 113 papal mottoes and not just 112 as is commonly supposed.
The misconception stems from a book published in 1624 by Fr. Thomas Messingham in which the original list of 113 was edited down to 112.
The original list of 113 predicts one more Pope after Francis.

Motto number 112 for Pope Francis is:

In psecutione. extrema S.R.E. sedebit.—He will reign in the final persecution. of the Holy Roman Church.
