So I’ve been looking on YouTube. Basically, this YouTube channel makes lots of video about anti Catholicism. They actually believe that Catholics go to hell. I’m thinking about becoming a Catholic. This just makes me sick!!!

This is one of their videos.

Catholic man dies and finds out by Jesus Christ that Catholicism leads straight to hell for eternity.

They believe that Catholics have to do rituals in order to be saved, and works.

It’s so crazy. I look at their comments. So many Catholics say they turned away from Catholicism. Some are saying turn away from religion, no religion can save you. Accept jesus into your life? They’re so crazy. Their weakness is church history. So confusing.
 
What is your intent here? As far as I know you have asked this question on two other sections of CA. Are you a troll looking to start something or are you searching for a certain answer and haven’t received it yet? What is your agenda?
 
Why are you still wasting your time with this YouTube garbage and why post this baloney here? I sure don’t have time for YouTube crazies making stuff up about God’s One True Church.
 
I’m searching for an answer. What church? The catholic Church looks pretty logical. But what about others? I have huge doubts, especially on religion. There’s no purpose for trolling on serious topics. Why would I do that first of all? I’m just saying, should I go to this church or not? This church just seems too radical. But idk. Lots of churches have radical ideas.
 
I’ve been leaning on Catholicism for some time. I really kind of had a weird connection. Studying Catholicism made me really weird. It made me keep searching for truth. For some time, Catholicism is in my mind. Some churches, why can’t they go away? The Catholic Church does seem logical historically. The Catholic Church is in my mind. Still have doubts but I keep praying. This Channel just breaks hell. I see Catholics, well former Catholics in their comments saying God has opened my eyes! But did they really?
 
I wished God could just appear right in front of me and tell me the answer. I wished that day would come. Seeing God in magnificent glory. God giving me an answer to one of my biggest or even the biggest life choice. I wish God would just talk to me or clearly communicate me. I just can’t tell whether for myself or for others If it’s either Satan doing the works or God. I see people saying God has led me Here, but I’m not 100% sure if God has really led them there. I kept thinking about the Catholic Church. It really makes my mind hurt thinking about it.

Look, any schmoe with internet access and a two-bit opinion can say anything they want online.
No fact-checking.
No peer review.
No gatekeepers.

Instead of watching YouTube, pray for discernment. Faith is a gift.
 
The irony i see would be that those who argue against rituals actually participate in rituals themselves.

Making love to have a child
Cooking food to eat
Heading to church
Prepping and cleaning up the petri dish in the lab.

Life demands action and participation .
Every action has a body to it. Even Christ on the christ took a process, it wasnt instant death or merely believing that he died to die

This isn’t a guarantee - Jesus lived and taught with people who did not believe him. It’s about faith and trust. Go with your heart and not your brain.
 
Why oh why are you still watching this? WE all have choices. To watch this , or watch uplifting material.

Well, pre-Reformation Christians (who were Catholics) got some news for them.

I think you should stop watching the videos of some sicko Protestant sect. Most of these sects are infantile. They barely have a theology that isn’t centered on hatred of some Church or another.

Do you think God would want you to join a church that teaches people to hate?
Why do you think this YouTube guy is so hateful toward the Catholic Church?

God is all about love and mercy. He loves everyone. He does not teach hate. He wants peace, not strife. Compare this true loving God with what the YouTube guy spews.

Since you seem to like getting you information from YouTube try



Start with these and let them lead you to other pro Catholic videos.

Wanting to have a direct and personal relationship with God is good; that’s what communion is all about. And that, helping to guide and bring us to that point, and then continuing to nurture that relationship, is what the Church is all about. From day one.

Alright, I’ve been researching multiple churches. Yeah, the Catholic Church seems like it’s the best option. But I always have doubts, even on the truth sometimes.
