Father Mitch Pacwa said on his Live tv show this morning that the ends don’t justify the means. He was commenting on how he had a man on his show asking how embryonic stem cell research is wrong and Father Mitch explained it was because it uses aborted babies to try and give life to another human , which is wrong. No doubt, I agree this is wrong, but it reminded me of something that I read before, which is my question…
I read an article somewhere on the web and from that have found out that in order to make certain vaccinations (something that many people deem as good since it helps to save lives) were derived from cells from aborted babies. Not all vaccinations are, but many of the original ones were formed by using cells from two specific aborted fetuses- that is, two human babies who had souls, who were murdered. It was a horror to me to find out that I received as a child at least one of these vaccinations. It was even more of a horror to me to find out the Catholic Church APPROVED this vaccination, stating that it would be for the good of all. What gives?
Does anyone know more about this? How am I supposed to feel knowing that I am alive because some twisted person out there felt it was ok to kill someone else to make others survive. They obviously felt that the ends justified the means of committing murder… and on top of that the Church approved it! Please don’t tell me “well the mother of the baby was the one at fault because she decided to abort and the baby was already dead” as that would still be indecent. Please don’t tell me it is the same as accepting a donated organ from a murder victim. That to me is still sick as I would plead that no organs should ever be used from a murder victim -if it that was even plausible given usually murder victims are not found early enough- since it could create an easy scenario to have someone murdered by someone else just to harvest organs for someone else. I think I read something like this may be happening in India already where the poor are murdered to get an organ for someone dying. It’s a slippery slope.

So, wouldn't this still fit in with what was taught this morning by Father Mitch- that the Church justified the means by the end that many people would be saved from certain deadly viruses? Why were vaccinations derived from using cells of an aborted baby ok by the church but stem cell research is not? It could be that what I read was not true, but just the fact that it was not spoken against back then, when obviously the church hierarchy at the time must have known where these vaccinations came from leaves me feeling very queasy, disgusted, sad, mournful and sick.
