Forty people a day were being killed every day in Juarez from drug cartel violence. A parish there, desperate, asked "missionaries to open a Perpetual Adoration chapel because they are assured that “only Jesus can save us from this.’” The local authorities may have had something to do with it–but all the same after day-and-night adoration in the chapel began, immediately the killing ended, completely, for months.
