We as Catholics believe every time we celebrate Mass we enter into the sacrifice at Calvary and make it present in the Eucharist. I heard Scott Hahn teach the Eucharist is the glorified body and blood of Christ. My question is do we enter into two events of Jesus’ life at the same time since His sacrifice is made present through His glorified body?

God bless,

All events, not just two.

God bless,
the Pasch is one event. we participate in the entire saving action of Christ, the event we commemorate in the Easter Triduum as it was acted out in human history, Last Supper, agony and passion, crucifixion, death, and Resurrection. One saving event in which we participate in every Eucharistic celebration, most fully when we partake of His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in holy communion.

In addition to the above posters, I will add that your phrase “through His glorified body” is exactly correct. Since the Resurrection, Christ is only ever present in the Eucharist in His Glorified Body.

Since the Resurrection Christ’s Body and Blood are never exist actually separated from each other – and His Body is always Glorified.
