Hi!
I am a non-catholic so I’ve never experienced going to communion.
Let’s say (even though it is unlikely to happen irl) that one day the Priest gives a non-consecrated bread to you. Would you that day know that the bread is only a bread?
I, personally, can’t tell if a bread is consecrated or not. How does going to communion feel like (or if you experience anything particular at all)? Cause if you are going to speak of intimacy with Jesus then you got to know which bread is Jesus. You would think you have physical intimacy with Jesus even that day when the bread wasn’t consecrated. I know this may sound strange but am a non-catholic so communion can be a bit strange to me.
Please explain your Catholic views on this.
