The Extent of Participation in a Non-Catholic Service

Hi.

I am a young man (16 yrs), absolutely on fire for Catholicism. I am also a budding organist.
I practice down the street at a Lutheran Church. The pastor there seems very curious about catholicism, actually.😛
So. I was reading an examination of conscience. One of the questions was: Have I actively participated in Non-Catholic worship?

What is the extent of that?

Would playing the organ for a Lutheran Service twice on a Sunday be wrong, if I fulfilled my Sunday obligation and never participated in their “eucharist” or anything?

Should I be worried or refuse my help? :confused:
Is offering my services as a substitute organist like this the wrong thing to do?
Is even singing at a non-catholic church going too far?

Any help greatly appreciated. I understand that things like this probably come up a lot.:o

Well, a lot of Catholic musicians in good standing make a living in Protestant churches.

Besides, where better than a Lutheran church to play Bach?🙂

The organist for my parish back home in the States is Southern Baptist. We are blessed to have her.
