The site generally is “possession obsessed”. In the real world there is a context. In 60 years of hearing from a lot of people with some sort of knowledge and reading a lot I can assure you genuine situations are very different from all that.

Genuine exorcists are very straightforward people.

When we go through a religious rite in communal calm, we have exorcisms, they are printed in any order of service book, we can all go and watch and say Amen, there will be a bunch of ordinary folks doing it together for ordinary reasons and everyone will know all about everything. The most serious cases (which are few) are simply a toned-up version of that.

The same goes in any denomination including those which are more informal (except the way out ones).

There are a lot of Poles in that story and in 1973 they had been under the Communists a long while.

Also the narrrative style of the piece always has a slanted feel to it.

Everyone should realise the “names of demons” however real are only representative. I.e “a demon named after so-and-so”.

To take on such suffering for the saving of many is just incredible. I didn’t actually read the whole article, because I don’t think I could handle it, but wow. There’s a quote: If the devil is not bothering you, you’re not bothering the devil. I can’t say I know the state of her soul, but God bless her for never submitting, despite being powerless. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

May God have mercy on her soul, through the intercession of the Blessed Mother, and on the souls of all those who suffer, or do not suffer and do not understand their plight.

I remember this terrible story.
This blog is reporting the facts very differently than what I’ve read elsewhere, though.
When someone is schizophrenic or bi-polar, it often appears in the late teens and early Twenties.
Two priests spent ten months performing this “exorcism” in secret.
She died soon after–her autopsy showing she was malnourished and dehydrated. Her parents and the priests were charged with negligent homicide.

.
From what I’ve read, people subjected to demonic possession have opened themselves up in some manner, thereby inviting the demons in, by engaging in the occult or other pagan or sinful activity. Michel would seem to be an exception to this rule, no?
