Do angels have a physical appearance of any sort? If so, do we regonize our Gaurdian Angels in heaven?
 
Good question. Spirits have no physical features; however, many saints have seen their angels and each one is unique. God has allowed some to appear physically. But it’s unclear how their appearance is determined. When I die my angel will likely say, “Thank God it’s over! Let’s get you home before you mess this up”. 😅
 
Angels can and have taken on physical forms as mentioned numerous times in the Bible. Also, in the life of Don Bosco, an angel in the form of a dog appeared and disappeared as he needed it, and probably there are a lot of other saints who saw their angels in some form or another during their lives.

I think that in Heaven, of course we would recognize our angel, but we wouldn’t have to rely on our physical senses to do so…
