NO i;M NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU THE FACTS i WOUL;D LIKE THE BAPTISTS GIVE THERE ACCOUNT OF WHERE IT ALL STARTED AND WHY THEY WOULD BELIEVE IN MYTH? iF YOU CONVINCE ME i WILL GO BACK TO THE BAPTIST CHURCH,iF JESUS WANTED US TO BE RAPTURED IT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO HIS DECIPALS AND ALL HIS FOLLOWERS. I hope you won’t leave the Catholic Church, but the origin of the Rapture theory is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17

“We do not want you to be unaware, brothers, about those who have fallen asleep, so that you may not grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose, so too will God, through Jesus, bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
Indeed, we tell you this, on the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will surely not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself, with a word of command, with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God, will come down from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

Many who believe in the Rapture equate it with the Second Coming of Christ. Catholics and most Protestant Churches believe in the Second Coming of Jesus. When Catholics recite the Creed at Mass, we affirm that Jesus “will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.” We believe that we will be “caught up” to the Lord at the Second Coming. Catholics know that this return of Christ for the Church may take place at some unknown time sooner or later, and the He will judge all humankind. The Bible teaches that Jesus will return once, not a second time.

Thanks Trish,That’s the way I believe those who endure til the end will be saved,but the other rapture comes and leaves only those who dont believe on the earth and there is 1000 yrs.of peace and then satan is let loose to temp the nations and well at the end Christ comes again and I guess thats when the new City comesdown to earth? It is confussind now that I think of it.So tell me when is satan tied up? He certaintly ahs never been so far. Nothing has realy changed since before the flood.What about those scriptures,where do they come in?And the Mark of the beast?I know in KJV Ezekiel chapter 13 verses mabe 18-end says he is against those who teach his people how to fly away.Now since the bible gets renewed to satisfy man (which upsets me) most of the meaning is proberly lost are you familier with this chapter? in KJV? Keep in mind, Nancy, that there’s NOTHING in 1 Thess that says the Rapture will take place before the Tribulation.

Historically, the Church has taught that the Tribulation will come before Christ returns to gather His people. Those who are looking for a pre-trib Rapture (which was never heard of before 1830) will be among the first to fall down and worship the Beast.

Jesus prayed, “I pray that you not take them out of this world, but will keep them safe from the evil one.”

The Rapturist prays, “Don’t listen to Jesus, God. You take us out of this world.”

BTW–Pre-millennial dispensationalism is not limited to Baptists, nor do all Baptists believe it.

So tell me when is satan tied up? He certaintly ahs never been so far. Nothing has realy changed since before the flood.

Actually, Satan was “bound”, but you have to properly understand what that means. And I believe he was already “unloosed”, which is what we’ve witnessed in our lives. Let’s start with the facts:

“Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.” (John 12:31)

And here’s why:

“If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can rob his house.” (Mark 3:25-27)

Which means that Satan was tied up (at the Cross) - his power was restrained - so that he could no longer deceive the nations, so that the Gospel could be taken to the world, so that our Lord could “steal” the devil’s possessions - the human race - which he originally stole in the Garden of Eden (all’s fair in love and war! ) But once the Church had spread throughout the world, the devil would be released for a “short season” (Rev. 20:3).

Our Lady of La Salette (1846): In the year 1864, Lucifer together with a large number of demons will be unloosed from hell; they will put an end to faith little by little, even in those dedicated to GOD. They will blind them in such a way, that, unless they are blessed with a special grace, these people will take on the spirit of these angels of hell; several religious institutions will lose all faith and will lose many souls. Evil books will be abundant on earth and the spirits of darkness will spread everywhere a universal slackening in all that concerns the service of GOD."

Now, first of all, do I have to point out that Darwin’s “evil book” On the Origin of Species was published in 1859, and has destroyed the faith “little by little”? Believe the Word of God and you won’t be deceived, although even some of the elect are deceived as our Lord warned us about (Matt. 24:24). And so we see that these prophecies have already been fulfilled, and the Church’s interpretation was correct: the “1000 years” was a metaphorical length of time (2 Pet. 3:8), a long time period in contrast to the “short season” that we are now in - the “terrible times” (2 Tim. 3:1) that were foretold. And then, yes, we will be raptured - “caught up” in the air with our Lord and all the angels and saints, on Judgment Day. You see, it all makes perfect sense when you stand on the Rock of Truth - the Catholic Church.

Oh, its coming. Just look at Obama, and imagine how easy it will be for the true “one” - Antichrist - when he has all the gifts that Obama has and much more, including performing “signs and wonders”. God is showing us this for a reason. But the first step to understanding is believing. So believe Jesus when He said: “Now the prince of this world will be driven out.” And then look at how Christianity caught fire in the Roman Empire and eventually conquered the greatest empire the world had ever seen, and did so peacefully, and the Catholic Church (Christ’s Kingdom) renamed it the Holy Roman Empire, all of which Daniel had prophesied (Daniel 2:40-45). And then look at how Europe, where Christianity was most widely accepted, flourished for many centuries. And then Christianity exploded in the Americas, and we flourished because of it. And once all of that was accomplished the devil was released from hell, and has slowly destroyed the faith, and now our societies are being destroyed - rotting from the inside. And St. Paul told us, “Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction”. And we’re witnessing the apostasy, so guess what’s next? Doesn’t all of this make sense?

Yes it is starting to,satan does do things slow so you dont notice,like the commercials people are almost naked. You know in rev.where the saints from under the alter speak to God and ask How long Lord until you avenge our blood how long Lord? and he say’s just a little while more until your brothers and sisters are slaughtered as you,(or put to death as you) Is that to show satan that nothing will seperate us from the love of God? or we have the victory with Christ over the flesh?And dont forget there are 3 the Beast the false Prophet, the Anti-Christ,Then where does the two witnesses come into it all?Almost at the end right? Why would you think I feel God is powerless? God is life and without him we would not exist,he is all knowing and all powerful Heis omnipresent,omnipotent,true God of any gods people worship on earth.He is everlasting to everlasting,wonderful,counsellor,Bishop of my soul,Light of true lights,King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That is quite a few questions.

I believe God. I asked God a question when I was very young, and he answered my question. I have been studying the Decalogue. I have found a mnemonic of the ten commandments in nature. Visit my website to learn more about that. A deist believes that God has created the universe, but that he does not get involved with any of the things that go on in the universe. He does not answer prayers, in other words.

Well, has He answered any of your prayers, powerfully?
