Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto them, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
And I especially pray for all those who have no one praying for them.

New thread; please post here. 🙂
My Son Victor and brother Joe both died unexpectedly last August and July.
Father, I offer you the body, blood, soul and divinity of your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in all of the Masses throughout the world today for all of the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for Sinners everywhere; those in the Universal Church, Domestic Church, those in my family and in my household. Thank You Father, Son and Holy Spirit & Catholic Forum.

May the souls of all those who died during this last two weeks around the world, especially for the soul of my friend’s dad, rest in the bossom of the Lord. Amen.

For a young man I never met who passed this past weekend. Just looking at the outpouring of love on his Facebook wall, I can tell he was a good person.

For all those who pass without notice from anyone else.

For the soul of my Aunt Bettye, whose funeral I went to today…
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in Your perfect peace. Amen

Loving God,

Paula, the wife of a coworker, was called home to be with you last night. We hope and pray that dear Jesus has met her and will bring her to that special place in your house that has been prepared just for her, as we learned in the Gospel of John. We pray for the repose of Paula’s soul and ask for your blessings, dear Lord.

We also pray for her husband, four children, and all the friends and family members as they deal with the grief and loss of her passing. Please comfort and strengthen them dear Lord.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Amen.

My wife passed away just over three months ago and I believe she is with the Lord now. Without her, life has been more empty and chaotic and nature loves a vacuum. I ask for your prayers and pray that this time of uncertainty will edify our lord some how. Thanks, amen.

Good Jesus, whose loving Heart was ever troubled by the sorrows of others, look with pity on the souls of our dear ones in Purgatory. O You who ‘loved Your own’ hear our cry for mercy, and grant that those whom You called from our homes and our hearts may soon enjoy everlasting rest in the home of Your love in heaven. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
